क्षत्रिय बडगुजर


SURYAVANSHI
Suryavanshi kshatriya trace their lineage to the Vedic Sun-Surya. Lord Rama was also born in this lineage. Suryavanshi kshatriya ruled over Mewar, Marwar, Amber, etc. Badgujar kshatriya, a suryavansh lineage once ruled the entire Rajasthan then called Gujardes, this made their clan named after it. later in history the territory of Jaipur was ruled by Badgujar kshatriya.

Badgujars originated from Ram's son Lava. Lavs son was badujjwal, after his name they were started to be known as Badgujars ( dettoriated pronucation of badujjwal ) Till 11th century they ruled big part of Rajasthan including Dhundar, now called Jaipur, Dausa, Alwar, Jangladesh now called Bikaner & Churu. Kachawas established them after snatching power from Badgujars. They never compromised to mughal demands and fough many battels with them, thus reduced in great numbers. They constituted the main force in "Haraval" Tukdi, the first line of offence in a battle.

      No Darmesh, Gurjat and badgujar are completely different clans.
      The Badgurjar, or the "Great Gurjars", are not to be confused with the common place shudra gujjars as the former are the authentic rulers and the people whom they conquered were labeled as gujjar.

      Is there a single historic precedent in the whole world where the conquerors give their name to the people who they have conquered.when the English ruled India did Indians become to be known as English. As far as gujjars being shudras is concerned do you know that vedmata gayatri is mentioned as a Gujjar as inscribed in her temple in pushkar. Chanting of the gayatri mantra by a shudra was punishable by death but here you are implying that she herself was a shudra. If anything historical evidence such as manuscripts and inscriptions point towards the rajputs as having a shudra origin who during the 13th century collaborated with the turks of Delhi sultanat to overthrow their gurjar overlords and find their own kingdoms. In fact even calling a rajput as a shudra is an insult to the shudras who though being at the bottom of Hindu society still kept their honor and never provided their mothers and daughters to Muslim harems in a way the rajputs did.

    As per their through analysis we are from Pratihar Vans, which is Ram's yourger brother Laxman's clans.
